Our Vintage/Boho wedding was everything we dreamed of thanks to Sofia and her team. Sofia was very professional and enthusiastic right from the start, and she has maturity and experience in her field that belies her age. She seemed to know exactly what we wanted, and when she wasn’t sure, she made sure to find out. Sofia shows real passion and dedication for her work, and the amazing end results are a testament to her prowess as an exceptionally qualified wedding planner. Our Wedding was a ‘destination wedding’ in beautiful Sintra/Colares, Portugal and as such a lot more planning was required on her part, as we lived in Dubai. Sofia was always available on WhatsApp, and was always prompt with responses and replies, and regular Skype meetings. She also went above and beyond, by helping us out with hotel bookings for us and our guests, transport arrangements, booking of various venues for other wedding related events, and guided tours for our guests. We were very happy with the outstanding work by Sofia and her team, from the selection of the venues, to the organising of 5 days of activities for our guests; everything went to plan without a single hitch. We would highly recommend Sofia’s services without hesitation, to anyone planning their wedding in Portugal, Sintra or surrounding areas. Living in Brazil but with Portuguese roots, the option to marry in Portugal seemed only a difficult dream to achieve. That’s when a friend told us about Sofia and Say Yes Weddings. From the first contacts, still via Skype, everything ran on wheels. Sofia’s contagious enthusiasm and firmness and experience have given us confidence to move forward. Today we can say that hiring a Wedding Planner was the best decision we made. Sofia was tireless in presenting venues, decorating themes and catering options. In the end, we decided on a traditional Portuguese Quinta, in the region of Alenquer. The decoration of the space with a rustic and bucolic theme, married in perfection with the antiquity and character of the manor house. The accommodations for us, family and close friends, were carefully arranged, including with the international guests’ reception at the airport and transportation to hotels and the party. Sofia was present all the time, with her attention to detail, anticipating and solving problems and maintaining a positive and humorous vibe all the time. From related events to makeup and hairdressing, from food to music, from ceremony to flower arrangements, nothing was neglected, making this one of the most important days of our lives.
